In case you don't know what to look for in the eqclient.ini file, here is a snippit of mine:

[VideoMode]
BitsPerPixel=32
Width=1280
Height=1024
RefreshRate=0

If you have RefreshRate set to 0, it will use what your Desktop uses automatically, in case you don't know what it is.

In game it's on your display options tab in the same place where you change your resolution.

He told me that he did my suggested fix of setting RefreshRate to 0 manually in the eqclient.ini file and it worked.

Yes I did what Llaffer said, open my clinet file and changed the refresh rate to =0

that fixed the issues I was having thx again Llaffer and Z
