Well my wonderful PC is caught in a loop. When I logged on I got the message "select F11 to start the IBM recovery process" Then it kicked over to a permanant loop "windows could not upgrade the file %1 from %2" I think my PC is officially dead 
I have windows ME too so the hubbie is at a loss how to bypass and get to windows. /sigh |

No to Zman and Yes to Shogi... it is directly from IBM. |

Don't ask, I have no idea what he did to fix it but it's working again. He said no it's not the PC it's windows.... /shrug |

I had the same problem before. It was Windows ME that was the problem in my case. There are certain situations it does not like. I had the same %1 %2 messages and then it would suddenly work fine. Then it wouldn't.. then it would. I had upgraged ram various other things and thought i had found a fix.. I finally upgraded to the copy of Windows 2000 I've had and all my issues vanished. |
