The shard from ME is confirmed to drop from any of the . Goranga scouts are PH's for the nameds and also rumored to drop shards as well, but extremely rarely. There are 3 camps of scouts that I know of. First are the 3 straight out from DSP zone near the big rock before the fort. These are probably the safest since they can be pulled to near the DSP zone where very little wanders. There are also 2 straight out from AR zone and 3 more over the hill to the right as you exit AR. From one spot you can kill all 5, but lots of mobs wander near there making it less safe, but more exciting and better XP. |

Hunted these guys last week. We got the camp there by the tree where the chieftan spawns. We would clear the tree, then pull the scouts from by the fort the the corner where we were camped. Very few unwanted adds there and the spawntime on the scouts, even though I didnt time it, seemed to be around 10 to 15 mins. The only bonus from fighting where we were was the few adds we had. Was able to find out that the southern scout by the rock straight out from DSP zone, is also the PH for the Seer. I invised and checked out the camps by Akheva, and they seemed pretty spread out, which pretty much meant pulling them would almost guarantee adds. My thoughts for the ME shard hunt would be to have 2 or 3 full groups, with 3 being preferred, and just have one group each camp each of the scout spawns. They con DB to a 63 and should be very doable by a healer, tank and cc/slower. |
