When: Friday Aug. 29 Where: Akheva Ruins Time: 9pm est Levels: 45+ Deanorn and I have been hunting in ME right next to the Akheva zone. I've wanted to check this zone out for a long time and in reading some old posts it seems at least Zbik and Kahmon were interested in a few items that drop here. I know it's short notice and a holiday weekend - but I'd like to check this zone out Friday with whoever wants to join and if there is a lot of interst possibly plan a raid for the next week. I recommend that we make the level limit a little higher, due to the fact that I remember attempting to come to this place at 54 and dying instantly. Just maybe like, 50 and up. |

My guess is that you we're looking at the "Toys for Zbik" post where he was drooling over the +10% Tinkering robe & I was drooling over the +15% Tailoring sheers. Unfortunately the mob that drops both is a 7 day spawn and with the Tradeskills modified cap at 252 both items would be nothing more then novilties for us by the time we got them. No doubt we could easily find others present that could get much more use from them. The main appeal to Akheva Ruins is that this is where you begin the quest to aquire the key to Vex Thal. This is one of the first raids I had in mind to lead once I am done with my tradeskills. I would still try to attend this, but Plane of Sky is too fun to pass up. |

Thanks so much to everyone who came - a special thank you to Rogier for rezzes, Shogi and Deanorn for massive corpse retreival. Overall my opnion is it went pretty well for a zone we knew little about going into. Everyone worked well together. We handled 4-5 mobs at a time, some that couldn't be mezzed or slowed. We got close to some nice drops but didn't quite make it. I'd like to go explore again if there is interest and hopefully get a little farther in. |
