Wayfarers of Veeshan

April 9th - 8pm CST in Great Divide

Objective : Gather components for 5th shawl attempts

Where/What :
Shardwurm caves for glowing bile (5 needed per attempt)
Velketor's Labyrinth for crystalline silk threads (75 needed per attempt)
These items are NO DROP! If you want them you have to loot them.

Who : Anyone who wants to come and help!
Shardwurms range from about 30th to 45th in levels.
Crystal spiders in Velks are around 45+
I'd like to see folks who can get XP come and join up to accomplish this goal. Personally, I'm looking for the components (I've got one (1) bile right now and the 4th shawl)

If anyone else is looking for the components, let's all get together and get these shawls knocked out. This is one of the harder ones for components (there's just so many to get).

Be sure that you have at least Mastered Tailoring (above 101). EQTrader board talk usually recommends a skill of 115+ as the trivial for this particular shawl.

Kith, of course if you can get folks together a little earlier, I'm sure that people would love to go ahead and get gatherin' on the threads.

Reminder - you need crystalline silk thread not silks ...
(these are the ones that look like pearl necklaces, not spider silks.)

Currently I have the following ppl listed as coming and what they are looking for :

Zayphres - Threads (35 - 45 threads)
Kithrana - Threads (75)
Tanliel - Biles (4) and threads (75)

If you plan on coming and gathering components, please reply to this thread so that we'll know how to divide the threads and biles.

Peri will be there... not for shawl stuffies but because I am DYING to see Velks........

Xanda needs to go there eventually, but Peri won the coin toss. Besides looks like you need a sacrafice anyway.

Well, was an interesting time in Great Divide and Velketor's Labyrinth.

We had a couple groups going, one in each place.

The Shardwurms didn't want to come out and play much on the north side of the caves, so we moved on down to the south side, where the young ones romp around. Had a wonderful group of folks who came to help out.
That was very much appreciated!

From the Shardwurms, we looted a couple of biles and Tanliel now stands with 3 biles. Only 2 more to go.

Velketor's Labyrinth group I didn't hear much from and expect that one of them will post a recap for us soon.

I do know that Zayphres was able to get another 20 or so crystalline silk threads, so he should be closing in on the attempt for the 5th shawl.

Zayph and I got there early and somehow managed to claim the 5-pop camp at the back of the bottom floor. Soon we were joined by Malbro and Perisai, and then Caldeen and new member Vespidae rounded out our group. Pulls increased significantly when Caldeen arrived, and we were kept busy killing spiders. Peri left early to join her *other* friends (sheesh - rangers) but Laldaas stepped in so we kept a full group.

It was a successful hunt with good loot, good xp, and great company. What more can you ask? :)

For you guys to go there again when I can make it!!! Sorry to have missed it, but it sounds like a resounding success!

I'm ready to go again. I really like killing wurms even though most no longer give me xp, so I'll be glad to help in that area too.
