I just wanted to give a general "Thank you" to all the guildies I've grouped with over the past week who have been very patient and understanding when I have to suddenly take a long afk to take care of the little one (I mean my daughter... that wasn't an euphemism for anything). It's quite refreshing to play with people who are understanding of real life needs, and everyone in the guild has been great about it.

Also I promise this isn't normal. My daughter DOES normally sleep through the night, she's just been teething lately and waking up 2-3 times a night. Believe me, I hope she stops soon as well. Come on teeth!

I think many of us have been through what you're going through, Merl. I remember when my first-born finally slept through the night the first time. I went rushing into his bedroom, convinced that he had died in the night, but he was only sleeping peacefully.

Teething is no joke for little ones. Don't worry about us - we'll manage without you for a bit while you take care of the REALLY important things.
