Heh thanks for all the concern about my dairy problems. For anyone who wants to avoid Surefall Glade altogether there is a vendor in Abyssmal Sea that will sell cheese to the evils. He is my choice for all my patty melt needs.

I have 52 toons spread over all servers cept Legends and the International servers.
The hardest for me to play are Chanters, Necros arent to bad they pose a good challenge.

I agree with many of the comments made here. PoK has seriously leveled the character playing field, especially because of travel and vendoring. If it weren't for that and the fact that all good gear nowadays doesn't seem to be very race restricted (pretty much just class restricted), I would have had to say that an Iksar warrior would have had the most trouble. Limited starting locations, almost no friendly vendors, lack of access to high AC gear made that guy incredibly hard to play. I'm surprised I ever saw one becaise most iksars I met decided to go for SKs over warriors. Nowadays though, I would say that the class/race combo that seems to have the toughest time would probably be a human monk. You don't get night vision, you don't get high AC gear, (rogues do more damage than you and can unlock traps, do CRs, picklocks), and you don't have as many hps as other melee classes. Plus you don't get to cast any spells. With the nerf of monks about a year ago, it seems to me that monks are less favorable to other classes nowadays.

Thanks for all the input. Behold! Kitty Bard is born! Tunash will be looking for a home soon. The hard part will be leveling slow enough to actually learn how to play. The hardest thing so far is to overcome the instinct to come to a complete stop to cast... Ohhhh this is gonna be fun when I go play Durezil now LOL.

Level up in Nro and Oasis... skip that paludal place

Try kiting with bellow when you get it.. and if you are brave and want to try something sorta difficult.. try kiting with you lvl 2 ae dot song in oasis after you get to level 5-8.. the beetles are best for this..

by the way with the ne patch .. any aoe that a bard can sing will not effect moving targets =/ so that level 2 song wont work for kiting

in my humble experience...

bard - too complicated, i never got the hang of it, sadly
rogue - lot of fun! i highly recommend for anyone wanting to play a melee type
necro - best solo class, can do it all, almost anywhere
cleric - highly satisfying, not for the faint of heart...hours of sitting punctuated by milliseconds of sweating bullets, hoping the CH lands in time
mage - high maintainence, difficult soloist unless under ideal conditions
wizard - not a solo class at all (ive heard a LOT to the contrary on this, but never experienced it), but fun in a 'kaboom!' kinda way in group
beastlord - highly versatile, a lot of fun to play
druid - probably in the top 4 best solo-type classes
chanter - can turn Mjor into a gnome...what more could you possibly want?

I only suggested Nro and Oasis because it's a good way to Learn to be a bard.. Paludal is pretty much a short cut for any class.
