Wayfarers of Veeshan

Ok I need to ask this just to be safe and make sure that I understand it.

Peri is in good with the Coldain Dwarves... being the cute elf that she is.

Now.... that means I cannot go and visit the giants (Kromzek/Korrmif) without getting thumped correct?

But I can go visit the dragons in sky shrine (claws of veeshan)?

So if I do the Thurg armor quests then I do the skyshrine quests too correct?

And If I do the Kael quests I have to do which quests for the upgrade....

I have to admit I am lost and the more I read the more confused I get. So I thought I would just ask and save myself the headache. Must be my blonde nature coming out.. wait that can't be right I am a brunette? Hehehe

You are correct in thinking that being friendly with the Coldains means the dragons like you but the giants want to eat you for a snack.

Thurgadin armor quests are the armor drops that are dropped from the giants in Kael and the turn-ins are done in Thurgadin.

Kael armor quests is the quests that are completed in Kael, meaning that the Coldains don't like you and will bash your knees, but on the other hand, the giants are your best friend.

When we goto Kael to work on faction and get drops, we are making sure that the giants don't like us anymore.

This is not necessarily the case. Everyone starts off KOS to both the giants and claws of veeshan. However, killing nearly any giant will also earn you CoV faction along with Coldain faction, BUT, the CoV faction gain is much, much slower than the Coldain faction gain. This means you can be warmly to the coldain and still be KOS to the dragons. All that means is that you need to kill more giants. For your reference, the work it took to get the coldain to warmly for Marrybeth brought her up to dubious with the dragons. She may not be able to buy from them, but at least she isn't considered food.

I've certainly hunted many many many of my share of giants, but also doing the shawl quests (even if you don't care about the shawls) with the Kromrif heads and giant toes and the baking, et al ... will get you very good coldain faction in a hurry. I'll have to check what Kith is, but I believe she is ally? or anyway really close friends (lol) -- I've even had the Coldain over for dinner and was a bridesmaid in a dwarven wedding (don't even ask for the pictures of me in that dress ... )

I am doing faction for Kael in SS if anyone wants to join me just give me a tell I have been there almost everyday. I am taking a small break from it cause it takes so long to work it but I will be there on and off so if you need good faction with Giants send me a tell.
