So my wife used to play EQ but hasn't played much at all in the past year or so. Still she knows enough that I can talk to her about it and show her things and she gets it. However I had a funny "and that's the difference between men and women" moment last night.

I finally got the augs for my four cultural armor bits and was really excited about finally sporting some 800+ HME gear. So with my wife sitting next to me I go "look at this hon!" with all if the inspection windows for those items up. Her response? "Oooh, I like your new robe. It's pretty".

I think I gave Wert a chuckle last night though. I went to buy myself a horse, having been told in no uncertain terms by certain parties (you know who you are) that the worg was too slow. I asked Wert in tell what color he thought I should get. He replied, "Whatever you want," and manfully restrained from adding "Duh!"

So I went and bought a white horse (fast as greased lightning too). So I then sent Wert a tell.

Arbrah: Guess what color the horse is?
Wertaf: Brown?
Arbrah: Nope.
Wertaf: White?
Arbrah: Yep. =) Well, I seriously considered brown but decided it would clash with blue.
Wertaf: lol

Nothing wrong with being a trained and deadly killer and still keep an eye out for fashion no-nos, ya know!

I have models turned on for the races ONLY because I have to in order to ride on a mount. I have no models turned on for any other race. What is really annoying is those damn enchanters that think it is funny to illusion the party thereby canceling my mount spell. LOL

When I very first started playing, Macabre went out and bought me armor so I could dye it. I refused to play until I could change the colors. People kept asking if I was a twinked alt... I had no idea what they were talking about.
