Wayfarers of Veeshan

Has anyone noticed the button on the launcher (not the LaunchPad but the patcher) that says "Upgrade textures"? When you click on it it says "Are you sure you wish to upgrade your textures? This will result in approximately a 600MB download and the act is irreversible."

Has anyone done this? Is it a noticeable difference? 600MB is a lot of stuff.

edit: Okay, I did what I should have done in the first place: I looked on the EQLive forums. Apparently it's for Original/Kunark/Velious zones. Some folks say there's a noticeable difference; others say no.

So have any of you done it?

Apparently I have as I don't have such a button.

I haven't seen any differences or I've become used to it already.
