Wayfarers of Veeshan

I'm just investigating the idea here of possibly raising my and my faction (the two factions that the mobs in Chardok are on) so that I can try to get DEEP into Chardok (one day) to take down my epic mob () without having to fight my way down to him.

This trick works in Guk, for example, to get deep in and I wonder if it's ever been tried in Chardok.

It seems most mobs are on BOTH factions, but there's not really any listed way to raise the Sarnak Collective faction (though there are indications that hits/raises on either one will affect the other similarly). I wonder what happens if I'm "non-KOS" on one faction but "KOS" on the other???

As far as I know, the only mobs I've killed that affect this are the Goblins in Nurga which should RAISE my faction with the mobs in Chardok.

I'd welcome any advice or information on fleshing this idea out.

Salyen worked diligently on his Chardok faction so he could go down to the royal quarters and CoH us there for raids, so I know it can be done. I just wonder, though, Drex, how quickly you'd lose your good faction once you started killing your target, and whether you could even get out safely.

I wonder that too Alley, considering he is reported to not always drop the item needed for my epic.

I wonder if we have any mages on Chardok faction anymore then?

Since they revamped Nurga chardok faction is much harder to get from what I understand

Now I'm learning there is a zone called "Chardok B"? and you can raise faction for Chardok by hunting in Chardok B. Gotta find a map and info for this now.

Y'know, it's almost like some A.R. kinda guy needs to make a list of every obscure zone in the game and link to maps and info for it. EQAtlas serves 90% of my needs, but finding that other 10% is a pain....

Any good links for Chardok B appreciated....

Only one I've seen ... I'll keep looking.

There was a rogue that went with us once from a different guild that was simply there to let us in doors, but would not assist us because of faction reasons.
