Just to let yall know that as of Sunday,I'll be MIA for 2-3weeks. I will be taking a Scenic Grand Tour of New Jersey, as i will be installing 68 servers, in government offices all over the state of New Jersey.

LOL....Literally ALL over NJ........my best guess is about 45 different towns or cities.

Sounds like what I did right before they RIF'd me! I was all over
MA/CT/NY/NJ doing Stop and Shop XP/PC rollout.

Almost all of the co. (that i work for) work is from Dell Comp. . We do mostly large scale roll outs, hardware upgrades,servers, system moves, imaging,network stuff,etc. . Our work is mainly in quantities of 300+ units per job. Occasionaly tho we take on smaller projects as a fill in or as a follow up/favor for larger accounts or when Dell needs a "fire" put out somewhere. We work nationwide and are based out of the Houston area. We did a job last summer for a local School District of 3,000 new PC's not including system moves or rehabs. This summer we're going back there to do between 5 -6,000 PC's. So we have been "maintaining that acct. all year doing small little 1-100 PC jobs for them. Thats pretty much of an overview of the co. that i work for.

Howdy Yall ! Didnt take me 3 weeks (thank God!) to get the NJ project done ..i did it in 2 weeks....Woot !...... found out almost as soon as i got back tho i was going to Laredo, Tx. for 2 weeks...heh...then yesterday that changed to Fort Meyers,Fla. for 2 days then on to Ohio State U for 3 days and after that down to Laredo for the remainder of that job.....as of this afternoon tho Fla. is out as the OSU job was pushed up to start same day as Fla. job, so im now goin to start on OSU on Monday & after i finish that fly down to Laredo & finish that project....sheesh!........ But.... i was just thinkin about what i could do with 150 PC's at OSU!!!!!!..../em has a great big evil grin on his face....any suggestions?........ROFL

Sure, you could replace the <insert expletive> mainframe that I had to do my doctoral dissertation on
