Mine surprised me slightly, only because it reiterated my ignorance of the latest crop of Dems.

However, the way my views lean toward non-viable 3rd parties just reinforces the fact that neither Reps nor Dems ever gets it 100% right with me.

I found it interesting that in last night's State of the Union address the president advocated increased education in math and science when he obviously can't do math himself. Mr. President, it's basic math to know that you can't spend more money than you have coming in. It's also been mathematically proven that a flat tax of, I believe, 8 percent, with no deductions will result not only in lower taxes for just about everyone, but in the government paying off the deficit AND the national debt within 10 years. Unfortunately a flat tax means the very rich will no longer be able to use tax shelters to avoid paying income tax, and we all know how well that will go over with the Republicans.

Anyway, I ran the poll and got Dean... I dunno, there's just something about him that strikes me the wrong way. Nothing I can put my finger on...
