Not that I'm skeptical, but....

Ok, I'm skeptical.

I won't load anything onto my computer, ESPECIALLY modifying Everquest without knowing what it is, how it works, how it'll affect things. I guess I'm a bit lame in that I see what is probably a very nice offering here, but couldn't find any documentation to tell me more about this free product.

Does anyone have any information on this?

You're not modifying anything. They're just map files you are overwriting. Worst case scenario they don't work so you delete them and the original ones will d/l next time you run eq. I've been using them for a while and they're very helpful.

That's what I figured, but would it kill the guy to put a little documention on his website? Maybe even a disclaimer about map completeness? Just looking for a lil attention to detail (read "A.R.")

I actually get a kick out of filling in my own maps .. realllly realllly annoying when you go to a zone that does not allow the map function to work.

You do as you want they only .txt file, you can copy your map folder somewhere and if you don`t like the new map just put the content of the old folder back in.

I found that tool very usefull for alot of reasons up to you to do what you want with this. This just a little help.

P.S. Put 1000 in both high and low setting in the right corner that will make you see the map in all level .

i havent try in a while i was only able to get one map that didnt come with new pac. jagged pine then log off an back on an never worked agian i have given up on the downloaded maps i really love the map wish could get to work

well iam not able to do it myself but my son downloaded them for me and what a big help they are ,most zones maped even planes and showing camps , zone ins and outs , the evac spots and anything that you could use to get around when you cant do that loc thing

ok lol took me 3 months or longer bad with computers but got maps to work found out that i had to everquest folder an the one i would put stuff in would not work found this out when download ui would not work lol
