I don't listen to music when I play

I do however like Enya, some Linkin Park, Ratt, Joan Jett, Cranberries, Blondie, AC/DC, I like some Eminem but I don't own any and in general do not prefer to listen to rap, Prince, Smashing Pumpkins, lots of oldies like Roy Orbison, Belinda Carlisle, umm, even some Garth Brooks /blush... anyways a long varied list for me.

gotta agree with the big (or little) Z on this one, radiohead is quite amazing, i started with hail to the theif, but if you want a more toned down version of that i think Kid A is an amazing album. oh and for anyone whos interested in indie music like franz ferdinand and modest mouse might check out the yeah yeah yeahs. out there, but definately good :D
alot of good music here, what about more underground kinda stuff? im personally into hardcore and could name quite a few bands from major: the bled, norma jean to a little less well known: daughters, fear before the march of flames, the hi fi massacure, hercandane, blind the fold.

anyone into more underground stuff? why not post on it :D
