My friends,
As most of you may remember, I kept extensive EQ walkthroughs and other gaming files on my personal web pages. I enjoyed having my own little corner of the internet for hobby stuff. But Verizon, my current ISP, ceased support for personal web page space last year. Before they killed them, I managed to download a clone of all my web pages, but they now sit idle, offline. I'm looking for a way to put my stuff back up online, but can not figure out the best approach. I ask your advice. Here's the requirements I'm trying to stick to:
1) I must be allowed to upload my own homemade HTML to the site. (Many free web page hosting services force you into their pre-made templates, and that just won't work) 2) Uploading should be easy and secure, preferably through tools provided by the site itself 3) Cheap. Free is better, but I'm willing to pay a nominal fee, say up to $10 a month or less 4) Don't need much space. I think I only use a Gb or two right now, with everything I had online.
As a bonus, I would like to register them under a domain name, but that's not a requirement. I was perfectly willing to live under "mysite.verizon.net/drexxell" in the past, so I'm not hard-over on this point.
Any recommendations?
Drex
