Wayfarers of Veeshan

For anyone who has MQ'd, can you give a play by play on exactly how it goes? Let's say player A and player B want to MQ a quest and want player B to get the reward.

During the actual turn-in part, how does it go, as far as order of "items dropped on the NPC" and "player clicks 'give'"? Is it:

Player A drops some (not all) items on the NPC
Player A clicks 'give'
Player B drops the remainder of items on the NPC
Player B clicks 'give'

or is it:

Player A drops some (not all) items on the NPC
Player B drops the remainder of items on the NPC
Player A clicks 'give'
Player B clicks 'give'

Or is it something else? Is it quest-dependent?

Good question. I've always wondered that myself.

Player a givees items first (the one DOING the MQ)
Player a clicks give.
Player b then gives items (receives MQ)
Player b clicks give.

Player B recieves his/her item.

Yep, Vae has it aright. We've done several in the form of the Thurgadin armors. Also, please note that MQs are not officially supported by GMs and you may or may not get items back if something goes wrong...
