The rumors of the "new Graphic Engine" for EQ has been confirmed. Other than its existance, there is no information about it (like what does it do, what does it look like, is it optional, when will it be released, etc.)

The wings should be for pallys only anyways. Only Paladins deserve to wear winged helms!

My computer still runs choppy with most luclin models on and it isnt even a year old :roll:

. Oh well, new graphics are always fun :grin:

Ummm...Attrael I think horns are more appropriate in specific cases and wings should be reserved for the gnomish types of chanters or even leaf blowing druids...or bardly types....or inkie SK's :twisted:

Well, I'm barely running EQ now. All Luclin models I have turned off and I have other graphics options disabled. (PII/400 w/384MB RAM - I'm so embaressed :oops:

) My pc is ancient by todays standards - but I wuz gonna buils a new one anyway! :grin:

Anyone have any input on graphics cards? I'm hearing the Radeon 9600 doesn't like the new target thing, and nVidia chips are supposedly not going to run HL2 as well as Radeon (not that I give a #@*&) so the question remains - which chipset will be best for running the new graphics engine?? And will it be optimized for the direct3d API or openGL?

Well, I can't / won't get too excited over a new engine when they can't / won't fix a glitch that prevents me from have my original fur on Mal.

If I want to play a lynx BL I have to put up with a tiger's tail and naked from the waist down. Only way I can see my gear is to be a tiger in total.
