Wow ! Great info from everyone. I love reading what tactics others use.
Here is what I do as a Wizzy:
1)Once the group gets formed I always get a fresh KEI.
2)Mem my saved "LDoN Spell set" that goes like this:
#1 = Agnarr's Thunder (My main Damage spell)
#2 = Draught of Thunder ( Damage + 0 sec stun for Interruping casters)
#3 = Tears of Ro ( Rain spell that I use when only one mob is in camp)
#4 = Harvest ( Gives me a little over 300 every 10 minutes)
#5 = Concussion ( Decrease Hate by 400 )
#6 = Greater Fetter (3 min. Root I use for Crowd Contol if needed)
#7 = Atol's Spectral Shackles ( Snare )
#8 = Evac ( Just incase )
I switch out my damage spells based on what resists the mobs have.
3) /em crosses fingers and hopes for a "Slaughter Mission".
4) Port group to near zone-in, or run there if its not far.
5) Buff myself with my self-buffs and summon a new Familiar. Find out who MT and ML is and set my "Assist Key".
6) If I am the Crowd Contol I ask for a HP buff of some type, cause I get hit a little more, hehe.
7) Once inside I cast Force Shield ( 750 Damage absorber).
8] On single pulls I just nuke with Agnarr's Thunder. It does over 2500 damage with my ID4 belt and crits up to 5010. If we get a caster or CH'er I toss in a few Draught of Thunders to stop the mobs casts.
9) If we get adds and I am on CC I cast my Snare. That usually gets the mob to come after me, but if it dont I cast a nuke on it and that always works. Then I pull it away from the group and Root it. If we get a several mob pull I do just as above but root each one in a different location and keep them rooted while the group kills and moves from mob to mob. My Force Shield usually holds up and keeps me from taking much if any damage, but I usually recast it after all the mobs that were pulled are dead.
10) If we are doing a "Boss Kill" or "Rescue" I start scouting with my eye alot while the puller is getting the next mob or while the mob is in run-mode. Even if we are not in a Boss Kill or Rescue I still scout around and look for named mobs if we have no tracer. Scouting is also a great way to find dead-ends and such, so I can help the puller.
11) I also play the roll of "Cheerleader" alot
. I keep everyone posted on how well we are doing and try too keep everyone spirts up if we start getting behind.
12) And I can always Evac if needed. That is the good thing about LDoN, you can Evac and just run right back to where you were with very little downtime.
Well, that is how my life is while in LDoN. I must say that this is by far my favorite expansion EVER. I have always love a good Dungeon Crawl !!!
