Wayfarers of Veeshan

WHEN: Sunday, Sept 12, 2:00 pm EST

WHERE: Griegs End, meet at DSP entrance to GE. Taxi service may or may not be available.

WHY: Meet your fellow Dragon Hunters, learn to follow direction and explore zone as a large group, and most importantly to have fun.

NOTES: Please meet early for group formation (15 min or so) and buffs. Latecomers are welcome but buffs will not be held for stragglers. I plan to enter the zone with force that IS ready promptly at 2:00. If you are running late take an extra minute or two to buff in pok so you're not holding up the entire raid.

OTHER NOTES: This is meant for DH'ers, Ready or not, whatever level and/or gear you are at now. (I'd say over 44 would be realistic)

WANTED: pm me if you are interested in designated duties for the following; group formation, loot collector/disperser, point man, puller, main crowd control. MT is taken, that would be me.

Thought I would give an explanation to 'WANTED.'

Maybe you have thought or wanted to post a raid but are unsure of your ability to manage all the tells and duties of a raid leader. I think our guild does a fantastic job of showing PATIENCE toward the person or persons involved in leading the Raid. Maybe you would like the opportunity to practice a specific aspect of leading raids. Here is your chance. I want to help anyone interested in leading raids. Not only will it allow for someone else to step up and lead an event, but it will help refine my own ability to do so.

Btw, a 'Pointman' is someone that has good knowledge of the mobs and layout of the zone to 'point' the group in the right direction. Whether that means avoiding, rushing, camping PH's for named, or medding in a safe spot.

I will do my best to make this. I would (and always have) offer any advice or assistance I can to anyone that wants to know about leading raids and hunts. I have a bit of experience in it and I really enjoy leading raids

Thanks, Velo. Very fun raid.

Was interesting seeing us, as you said, taking on different responsibilities and playing different roles in the group. :)

I thought things went really well. Not alot of missteps along the way. Mostly we all handled our respective jobs well and with some more practice we will be uber, hehe.

Thanks to all that came out. I think we did a great job! The zone is huge and seems to get progressively more difficult as you cross it. The xp is pretty decent there. I'm pretty sure I'll be going back.
