Today we tried to take down on short notice, but our valiant effort fell short. However, because so many people seemed interested in killing him for the sake of it, we will kill the non fabled Emperor this Sunday the 20th, provided he is up. Meeting place will be the zone in of Ssraeshza Temple, and starting time will be 1pm PST (4pm EST, 3pm CST, figure it out). If the chamber restriction is lifted in Wednesday's Patch, then the only requirement will be level 55 to participate. If the change does not go through, then you will need to either get a before fableds ends, or have a regular , or at least the pouch, ring, and idol to make it. If all you need is an insignia, we will get that for you along the way. Melees: It would be very helpful if you have a since he is immune to non-bane melee damage. Because this will be 4 days after patch, and emp is a 7 day spawn, there is a good chance he will not be up. If that is the case, we'll look for other options such as lesser Ssra nameds, or epic fights in close zones. |

Man, tempted to log in for that. Even though I did manage to tag along on an Emporer kill to complete the VT key quest, there's no bigger hole in my EQ experience than taking down the Emp with WoV. I wish you all the best of luck. ~Durezil, then and always |

Log in! Durezil is sitting in the guild hall most of the time, adequately geared, with current spells. He'd love to get out and do something besides buff people! :) |
