This turned out to be a fairly frustrating day, through no fault of anyone. Two of the alliance's tanks, Haams and Dorann, were absent. The two raid leaders - Legeran and Gealaen - were absent. Our original target was to have been Sendaii, but we didn't have the tanks for it. A backup target (Porthio) wasn't up. In addition to being a raid leader, Gealaen is also the quest officer, and without his input there was no way to know whose epic fights may have been available. A bit more communication with the troops would have been appreciated, but the few AR officers who were present were scrambling for an alternate target, so they were otherwise occupied. I'm sure future AR raids will go much more smoothly. Speaking as someone who will not lead raids, I appreciate the effort put forth by those who do, and I understand the effort and coordination it takes to do even the simplest thing. |
