It was great to have so many Wayfarers at the raid last night! If you've never been to an AR raid, please join us. Some raids like Anguish and Inktu'ta require flags, but there are several that you can atttend (assuming you're the right level) without any kind of flag. Examples of those are Matriarch Shyra and any of the DoN events. Just a few things to remember if you do come: * Join the /arraid channel for general chat, and if you're a healer also join /arheal. * /Rsay is reserved for the use of raid officers, so we peons don't speak in the raid channel. :) * If you need a specific buff, it's best to send a tell to someone who can cast it rather than asking in the /arraid channel. * And if some loot drops that you want, you can send a tell (when they ask for it) if you would like to have it, even if you've never raided before. If you win the item you might wind up with negative DKP, but that's okay, especially if you continue to raid. (Leoheart got a nice weapon last night, and she almost didn't even put in for it!) AR is a nice bunch of people from several different guilds, with all levels of raiding expertise. Come expand your horizons a bit and see all the fun things you can do in a large raid. If you have any questions, just ask one of the officers. |
