Wayfarers of Veeshan

Was browsing through your forum, reading guild charts and rules, application section, when I stumbled accross this section. My first thought was, hey are they offering anyone, even outside guild, help on a raid or is it just in guild? Well I decided to give it a shot, since if it only applies to those in your guild, you can just ignore this thread or delete it

My problem is this:
I have been desirering to kill Spirit of Radir for a long time now. He drops Shadow Heart and Mithril Edged Short Sword, both no drop, which I am wanting badly. He also drops some mnk/bst weapons, a 2hs melee, a caster staff or 2 and some of the +15 stat bracelets. The only drops I am after are the 2 swords I mentioned above, but I havent had a chance of gathering the forces needed to make way to kill him. The mob himself should be fairly swift, but its making way to him thats the problem.

WOOT! heya vitaliana!

I was once lucky enough to sit in on this mob with Silyene and some of her friends from Chaotic Nights (the guild has since disbanded and some have even left the game... very sad.) They were quite the uber bunch and made it look very easy, but this guy has a ton o hit points.

Schedule a time and I'll do my best to make it. Keep in mind a good majority of WoV are 6-9 hours behind you

Durezil

If that is the mob I'm thinking of...he is one tough customer! My question is, would we be able to take him down? Another question, what type of offense does this mob have...i.e. like AE spells, Durezil said mega hitpoints, what other factors about him?

We love a challenge and are willing to help those who ask...but we like to make sure it is within our capabilities. Post the pertinent facts about the mob and let's go from there.

Well from what I've heard he shouldnt be that tough, but clearing the path to him is the bigger problem. There is some info on drops here:

and you can also read other ppls thoughts about him there. I havent participated in killing him before sadly, thats why I ask you guys
Havent been able to get on other ppls raid on him, nor do I have friends like you and Silyene Durezil She also told me about that hehe. But I've heard ppl speaking about 3 boxing him with 65war 65clr 65enc/shm and others just a full grp of mid 50 to 65, and others a couple of full grps of 50-65. I hope you can use this info and I know for sure that both Wrecking Crew, Clan Silvermoss and Infinite Odyssey has taken him down

Also most if not all of this mobs loot is similar to what Doomshade drops, but since he is trickier to kill I've been trying for this guy only... for Doomshade you have to kill some Dark Masters within a time limit (fairly short I belive) to make Doomshade spawn.

One thing about this guild, it can come in by force when they want to

I met them waiting for my guild in The Hole to attempt to do SHM and ENC epic drops. 7 of us.

They show up in 5 groups. We join their raid, so we were able to clean the zone with this 6 group raid party.

I don't know if the 7 of us would have even gotten half way in the zone, the way the adds popped in on us.

WoV is a good group of people

Heya Vita, Llaffer, yous all.

This mob is VERY tough. It's like the Vindi of Luclin. About 150k HP, meaning the battle could take as much as 20-30 minutes (LOL). Running a raid on this guy will require a lot or assistence; seems we have lots of friends in other guilds that would help.

I'm up for spending more time in UP, Grieg's and other higher-end Luclin zones. It'd be really cool one day for WoV to be in Vex Thal...

Lastly I think this would be best done on a weekend.

Radir is an 8 hour spawn and Konane of Dragons blood has offered to do this with us at some point. I was with DB on an attempt to take Radir down last week. Unfortunately people kept going LD 1 at a time and being rolled back to zone in so the raid was called off.
