Hello to my Extended Family and Seasons Greetings

As I wandered my way through this post, I thought of the many times that I have enjoyed the company of most of WoV on many of the raids you have allowed me to share with you all. I remember one of the first times that WoV tried to do the King Room in Chardok. It was probably one of the toughest fights you had ever had. I remember the time Aesthete assisted and CoH'd the raid to the King Room and we cleaned house. I salute WoV for their last successful raid there, because you did it withOUT any CoH, or people falling into the King's lap. The mistakes that you had made before, you took them and learned from them and that made for a successful Family Outing.

As we all progress through the wonderful world of Norrath, poking into it's corners and looking under every rock for something new and exciting, we learn something new everytime we log on. Whether it is from someone who has played the game for years, or from that person who has been playing for a few months. I am constantly learning new things and I try to share those with others as I can For example, Vasilia found out that with Yaulp 5 and 6, her need for sitting to meditate during groups is not really all that necessary anymore (if she has KEI) and instead of sitting, she can summon her Hammer, with it's AWESOME damage proc, and beat the unholy tar out of the mobs now. This wouldn't be the case everytime, but it is a GOOD thing to know about. ( I do believe Aesthete shared that tidbit with her).

The advice that has been offered in this thread, and some of the conversations I have been having with people I respect in game (thanks Salyon, Kahmon and others ) Has opened my eyes and I am now looking at some of what it takes go get where I would like to one day go, the Plane of Time. But, Patrons of Valor, was/is and always will be a Family Guild (if I have any say in the matter ) The Main reason being we have enough friends, in numerous Guilds, that if my people want to do the High End raiding in the Game, they can. True they may be tag-alongs and might not be eligible for some drops, but at least they can say: "Been there, done that". I would never change PoV from what it is today.

For those that know me and Vasilia, we will help just about whenever and wherever we are needed. In some small way I would like to help now. The Elemental Flag channel has been up and put to good use for quite some time now. Tonight they tried TT and from what I saw/heard it was pretty nasty.

Here is my take on it...I have wandered Norrath for some time and have yet to see everything there is due to being in a small Guild that is sorely lacking on the more important classes such as clerics, shaman and chanters. There are so MANY zones I want to go to and with the Planes of Power, even more. I did some poking around and have now revamped my priorities. I WILL get to the Plane of Time one day...but before that, I would love to get some of these...they will make my trip to PoTime that much more enjoyable and the zones they drop in are well within my reach, if I can figure out a way to convince others they should take me with them

The Vex Thal drops will definitely take some doing since getting that key is an EVIL task in and of itself, but one day....

Plane of Hate, Veksar, Sanctus Seru....all of these zones are ones that WoV are MORE than capable of tackling without that much difficulty and if they drop items like those above, watch out Plane of time...WoV is knocking on your door now

Yeah there is UBER loot in Plane of Time...but what about the UBER loot in the Non-Plane zones that is still out there for the taking? You should see the loot list for .

The only reason I have posted, was to offer a glimpse of some of the 'uber' stuff that can still be had outside the Planes for those who are not yet ready to tackle the 'uber boss mobs that you have to be uber to kill'.

(Gods...it is almost 7am EST and I hope I proofread it enough as I just wanted to offer some alternatives to getting some of the gear that may be needed to get to the Plane of Time)

This channel is grown beyond what it started as and now involves lots of people from several different guilds. To accomodate the influx of people there is a new channel EQraiders to use for the daily planar raids going on.

Okies...I am VERY interested in this. This will give people a chance to see how these are down, get em done and most importantly, attempt to get a good rapport going between some of the bigger guilds. However, I also have many reservations as I was one of the first 80 or so to be in the original EQRaiderrs and here are my suggestions/questions.

1. Which Guilds are going to be a part of this?

2. Are people outside the Guilds involved going to be allowed to participate? (i.e. We go after Behe, people see TONS of us zoning in and ask what we are doing. All of a sudden, there are 120 people in the zone, trying to follow along behind us. )

3. Loot. A fair way of divvying the loot up needs to be come up with. If I spend my time helping out, I would like to feel that I might just have a chance at some of the drops.

These are a few of the problems I had with the original, besides the punks that decided they wanted to ninja several drops. I would be more than happy to try to assist with this anyway I can

np will be fun to start hosting raids again, going to start working on flags and gear farming...ae...paffa, bot lords when nothing else is up but i will allow other ppl approved by me if i however disapprove and have alot of other ppl that say there good and what not then i will however think about it and might let them in however i will only allow certain approved Apparition and other guilds all depends on who i like...latas
